Shah Rukh Khan will build a stadium in the United States

Shah Rukh Khan's relationship with cricket is deep. His team's reputation in franchise tournaments is world-renowned. This time Shah Rukh, the proprietor of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), wants to build a stadium in the United States. The Knight Riders group is already taking important steps to build the stadium in Southern California.

The KKR started their cricket journey with the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2008. The team is playing successfully in the IPL so far. Shah Rukh's team also won two IPL titles in 2012 and 2014. They will also participate in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

Shah Rukh's team Trinbago Knight Riders is also doing quite well in the CPL. The Knight Riders group wants to take a team in Major League Cricket (MLC) in the United States this time to expand their presence in world cricket. They would like to set up a new venue there. Shah Rukh stated that they’ve made this initiative with the MLC in view of the growing popularity of cricket in the United States in the future.

Shah Rukh also spoke about his future intentions. He commented that they hope to establish the Knight Riders group in T20 cricket on the world stage. This initiative will greatly help the group move forward. Building a famous stadium in Los Angeles is definitely exciting for us and for MLC.

The planned stadium will have a capacity of 30,000 (approximately) spectators. The construction cost of the stadium is estimated at 30 million US dollars (approximately). The cost will be borne by the Knight Riders Group.
